Bush administration proposes higher fuel economy

Yes, you read that correctly! According to an article that appeared in the Boston Globe on April 23, U.S. Transpportation Secretary Mary Peters proposed a plan so that new cars and trucks will meet a fleet average of 31.6 miles per gallon by 2015. Read the full story here.
