Local Action Groups

MCAN community action in Lexington, MA

MCAN is the nation's largest network of community climate action groups dedicated to addressing the threat of global warming. We have chapters all across Massachusetts, ranging from the Berkshires to the South Shore and North Shore, with scores of communities in between.

We help our chapters to draft climate action plans, pass municipal resolutions, set up energy committees, implement MCAN programs, and reach out to the public. We welcome new chapters to join us and strengthen our mutual efforts to reduce the impacts of global warming at the state, local, and personal levels.
